To commemorate World Environment Day, the company launched a massive plantation drivewith a target to plant over 1.5 lakh saplings across its operational areas in 2025. This initiative builds on its broader commitment to ecological restoration and environmental stewardship.
Additionally, Hindustan Zinc hosted a week-long series of community-focused events, including:
Environmental quizzes and awareness campaigns

Its Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) offer transparency into product lifecycle impacts, while the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) recently awarded the company an A- Leadership Band for outstanding water security and climate action in FY23.
