During this time, many digital services from UPI to net banking will be closed for a few hours. The bank has informed all its customers about this through email.

These services of HDFC Bank will be closed on Sunday, 8 June 2025 from 2.30 am to 6.30 am. That is, you will not be able to use these services for about 4 hours. However, this time is early in the morning, when very few people use the bank's service. During this time, it will not be possible to send or receive money through UPI, because the bank's servers will be down.

Which services will not be available?

You will not be able to use many online services of HDFC Bank. Here is their list-

Sending or receiving money through UPI transactions.

Net banking and mobile app access.

IMPS, NEFT and RTGS transfer.

Viewing or updating account information.

Merchant payments i.e. payment at shops.

Facility to open instant account.

Use PayZapp

HDFC Bank has advised customers to use the bank's PayZapp app during maintenance. PayZapp is a digital wallet and virtual card app through which you can do things like bill payment, shopping and sending money without accessing the bank account.

Axis Bank will also do maintenance

Axis Bank has also informed its customers that credit card transactions will be closed for some time on June 6, 2025. People may face this inconvenience from 2 am to 2.45 am.
