RRB NTPC Exam Cancelled 2025: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released a big update regarding the NTPC Graduate Level CBT-1 exam. The third shift exam held on 5 June 2025 at Adarsh Examination Center (Venue Code: 40923) located in Gaya (Bihar) has been canceled. This exam will now be conducted again, the new date and time of which will be announced soon.

Why was the exam canceled?

The railway has not yet given a clear reason for canceling the exam. However, the board has informed the candidates that the old admit card will no longer be valid and a new admit card will be issued soon.

New exam date and admit card

Railways has clarified that the re-scheduled exam date and new admit card will be made available on the official website soon to the candidates of the Gaya center. Candidates have been advised to keep visiting or the website of the concerned RRB regularly.

Railways has advised the candidates to avoid rumors and trust only official information. Also, they have been asked to be cautious of fake agents and those who cheat in the name of getting jobs.

Exam Pattern and Details of Posts
This year, a total of 8113 posts are being recruited under the RRB NTPC recruitment process. CBT-1 (Computer Based Test) is conducted first for the selection of candidates. This exam will have a total of 100 multiple-choice questions, which will be given 90 minutes to solve. Negative marking is also applicable in this, where 1/3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

After CBT-1, eligible candidates will be called for CBT-2. After this, there will be a skill test or typing test, document verification, and finally medical examination. Candidates who complete all these stages will be finally appointed.

The CBT-1 exam is being conducted in three shifts- the first shift starts at 9:00 am, the second shift starts at 12:45 pm, and the third shift starts at 4:00 pm. Candidates are advised to reach the exam center on time and follow all the instructions.
