The process of recruitment examination has been simplified and made convenient by the Staff Selection Commission. Now, candidates will no longer need to visit cybercafes.

There is big news for the youth preparing for government jobs. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has made the application process of its recruitment examination even simpler and convenient. Now candidates will be able to fill out the entire application form from their mobile phones, that too without the help of any cyber cafe or operator.

What is the new facility?

SSC has completely upgraded its mySSC mobile app. Now through this app, the entire process from registration to filling the application form can be completed on the mobile itself. The special thing is that now the facility of Aadhaar OTP and face authentication is also available in this app.

SSC Chairman S Gopalakrishnan said that this new app will prove to be very beneficial especially for the candidates from rural areas, who will no longer need to go to any computer center. According to the notice issued by SSC, this mobile app based application system will be applicable in all the examinations to be held from June 2025. This app can be downloaded from Google Play Store.

What is the benefit?

You will be able to apply for all SSC exams from mobile only.

You will be able to verify yourself by doing OTP or face authentication with Aadhaar number.

You will be able to complete the entire application process without any middleman.

On which mobile will this app run?

This app will work only on mobiles with Android version 11 or above. Candidates will also have to install Aadhaar Face RD App in their phones, so that the face authentication process can be completed.

Will Aadhaar information dominate the application?

On this question, SSC has clarified that the information that the candidates will fill in the OTR (One Time Registration) form will be considered final. No changes will be made to the information recorded in the Aadhaar card.

What is SSC's plan

SSC and the app developer company Cubastion Consulting say that in the future this app will be made a one stop solution for the entire recruitment process. That is, all the information and process from filling the form to examination, result, document verification and joining will be available on this app.
