The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from bank employees and volunteers who came together with a shared purpose—to contribute meaningfully to a cleaner, greener, and plastic-free future. Manoj Gupta, deputy general manager (Business Development); Sudeep Kumar, deputy general manager (Compliance & Assurance); Vimlesh Jhalani, regional head–MMSR region; Yogesh Jain, deputy regional head–MMSR region; Manas Mishra, regional head–MMCR region; Anil Kumar Singh, deputy regional head–MMCR region; and several other senior officials participated in the beach cleaning drive.
Equipped with gloves and eco-friendly cleaning gear provided at the site, the volunteers dedicated two hours to removing plastic waste and litter from the beach stretch. This beach cleaning drive is a reflection of the Bank’s deep commitment to sustainability, social responsibility, and community engagement.
They were also joined by staff members from zonal, regional offices, and branches across Mumbai Zone, whose presence and active participation added immense energy and inspiration to the initiative. With the help of Team members of the NGO, the cleaning drive has been completed in proper manner and collected garbage has been sent for recycling. Bank of Baroda remains committed to supporting national and global environmental goals and will continue to engage in initiatives that promote sustainability, reduce carbon footprint, and enhance the quality of life in the communities it serves.
