Immediate Dismissal of Political Secretary

The Karnataka government has announced the immediate dismissal of K. Govindaraju, who served as the political secretary to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. This decision comes in the wake of a tragic stampede at a Bengaluru stadium that resulted in the loss of 11 lives and numerous injuries.


An official notification confirmed, "The appointment of K. Govindaraj as Political Secretary to the Chief Minister is hereby revoked with immediate effect. Accordingly, K. Govindaraj is hereby relieved from the post of Political Secretary to the Chief Minister with immediate effect."
