UP PCS Mains Exam 2024: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has shared a lot of information regarding the UP PSC 2024 Main Exam. The commission has canceled the applications of 259 candidates. All these candidates had successfully passed the preliminary examination, but could not complete the formalities prescribed for the main examination.

Applications canceled due to these reasons

The forms of the maximum 138 candidates were canceled only because they could not send the hard copy of the application form to the commission office by the prescribed last date 1 April 2025.

Apart from this, some other reasons include:

Submission of form of wrong year: A candidate submitted the application form of PCS 2023 instead of PCS 2024.

Lack of certificate: Some candidates could not provide an intermediate certificate, date of birth matching, or category certificate.

Lack of educational qualification: 38 candidates did not have the minimum educational qualification required for those posts.
Application in the wrong format: 25 candidates sent only documents in place of the application form.

Educational qualification after exam date: There were 3 applications in which educational qualification was obtained after the application date.

Freedom fighter category: 26 candidates could not submit certificates.

Last chance to appeal

The commission has given these candidates a chance to appeal by registered post or in person at the commission office by 5 pm on 11 June 2025. After this, no representation will be considered. This information has been given by the Under Secretary of the Commission, Omkar Nath Singh.

PCS Mains 2024: Exam Schedule and Center

The PCS Mains Exam 2024 conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission will be conducted between 29 June to 2 July 2025. Centers have been set up in Prayagraj and Lucknow for the examination. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and the second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
