According to the Central Pollution Control Board, Delhi’s average air quality index (AQI) was 156 at 6:30 am on Saturday. Other cities of NCR were recorded in Faridabad AQI 158, Gurugram 164, Ghaziabad 127 and Greater Noida 130. According to CPCB standards, AQI is considered to be ‘good’ between 0 and 50, ‘satisfactory’ between 51 and 100, ‘medium’ between 101 and 200, ‘bad’ between 201 and 300, ‘very bad’ between 301 and 400 is considered ‘very bad’ and ‘severe’ between 401 and 4000.
