UGC NET Examination Dates Announced

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the schedule for the UGC NET examination set for June 2025. Candidates who have registered can view the exam timetable on the official UGC NET website, .


The UGC NET June examination is scheduled to take place from June 25 to June 29, 2025. The tests will be conducted in two sessions: the first shift from 9 AM to 12 PM and the second shift from 3 PM to 6 PM.


This examination will consist of two papers, both featuring objective-type multiple-choice questions. There will be no intermission between the two papers. Paper I will carry a total of 100 marks, while Paper II will be worth 200 marks. The question papers will be available in both English and Hindi, except for language-specific papers. Candidates must respond in the language they selected in their application form.

Additionally, candidates can expect a notification regarding their exam center city to be posted on the NTA UGC NET website 10 days prior to the examination.


The UGC NET examination serves multiple purposes: it awards Junior Research Fellowships, facilitates appointments as Assistant Professors, and allows admission to Ph.D. programs across 85 subjects in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format.
