Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has started the recruitment drive for the posts of Assistant Section Officer (ASO) (Group-B) across the state. A total of 29 posts will be filled in the Office of the Advocate General of Odisha, Cuttack. The candidates finally selected for these posts will get a salary of Rs 35,400/- at Level 9, Cell 1 as per the pay matrix prescribed under Rule 3 of the ORSP Rules.

The registration link for online application is currently active, and candidates can apply online till June 9, 2025.

The selection for these posts will be done based on performance by the candidates in the written examination (Objective Type - MCQ) followed by skill tests in computer operation (Practical - qualifying nature).

Educational Qualification

The candidate must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or must have an equivalent qualification. Additionally, the candidate must have adequate knowledge of computer applications as mentioned in the schedule.

Maximum age limit to apply: 32 years
Age relaxation as per government rules

Written Test (MCQ Questions – 400 Marks)
Skill Test in Computer (Practical Aptitude – 50 Marks)
