This high-tech train flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started for the common people from 7 June. This train passes through the world’s highest railway bridge Chenab Bridge, which makes it an engineering miracle and sightseeing journey. In the initial phase, two Vande Bharat trains will run between Katra to Srinagar.

How to go to Srinagar by train from Delhi?

At present, there is no direct train facility to Srinagar, but you can easily reach from Delhi to Jammu Tawi or Katra by train. Jammu Tawi is about 270 km from Srinagar. From there you can reach Srinagar through bus or taxi. Also, the service of Vande Bharat Express has started from Katra to Srinagar, due to which this journey has become more easy.
