Miley Cyrus finally cleared the air on why she has been not singing or performing the celebrated Hannah Montana songs post the conclusion of the Disney show.

The musician appeared on the Every Single Album podcast, revealed that more than her willingness to croon the songs, it makes her feel bad over how the tracks have occupied her vocals and face and still could not perform them again.

However, as of now, to everyone’s surprise, the singer has been allowed to sing the iconic set of songs from the 2000s show, previous year.

Miley Cyrus reveals she didn't sing Hannah Montana songs for 14 years because she wasn't allowed : r/disney

Cyrus said, “After I left Disney, I wasn’t allowed to perform any of the Hannah Montana music.”

The singer added, “It’s not like I wanted to. I mean, performing ‘The Best of Both Worlds’ between ‘We Can’t Stop’ and ‘Wrecking Ball’ wouldn’t have really made sense.”

She mentioned that when the Disney studios granted her the permit to perform the songs, it made her feel “pretty cool.”

The singer appeared as Hannah Montana in 2006 and the popularity of the entire cast skyrocketed. It also starred, Billy Ray Cyrus, Jason Earles, Emily Osment, and Mitchel Musso.
