New Delhi: Telugu superstar Akhil Akkineni is all set for a grand wedding celebration with his ladylove Zainab Ravdjee. Reportedly, the wedding is scheduled to take place on June 6. The event, which is anticipated to be a star-studded affair, will be hosted at the iconic Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, where Akhil’s half-brother Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala also tied the knot last year.

For those who do not know, the Have actor’s engagement was held in November 2024 and was kept relatively low-key. However, the wedding is expected to be a far more extravagant occasion. Although no official word has been shared about the guest list, several prominent political figures and celebrities are believed to have been personally invited by veteran actor Nagarjuna Akkineni.

Among those who have reportedly been extended a personal invitation are Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, and Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka. The invitation was said to have been delivered by Nagarjuna, accompanied by his wife Amala Akkineni and Zainab’s parents, in keeping with traditional hospitality.

Speculation has also surfaced about a separate post-wedding celebration, possibly being planned in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur. However, no official confirmation has been issued at this point.

Who is Zainab Ravdjee?

Zainab Ravdjee, who is set to become the newest member of the Akkineni family, has been introduced to the public as an accomplished painter and perfumer. Although currently based in Mumbai, she was born in Hyderabad and is the daughter of industrialist Zulfi Ravdjee. Her art has been exhibited across India, Dubai, and London.

Meanwhile, Akhil Akkineni was last seen on the silver screen in Agentreleased in 2023. In the film, he portrayed a RAW aspirant determined to earn the mentorship of Colonel Mahadev, played by Mammootty. Despite high expectations, the spy thriller failed to deliver at the box office. However, the actor’s fans are hopeful as he is slated to return in Leninwhere he will be seen opposite Sreeleela.
