Operating a fleet of over 1,500 buses—including CNG and electric buses—the organisation emphasises eco-friendly, reliable community transport.

The ceremony was presided over by PMPML Director Deepa Mudhol Munde, with key officials in attendance: Chief Transport Manager (Operations) Sitesh Gavhne, Labor & Public Liaison Officer Kishor Chauhan, Division Head Vikas Mate, and depot managers from Chinchwad, Katraj, Bhosari, Nigdi, Wadgaon, and Municipal areas.

Speaking on the occasion, Deepa Mudhol Munde said, “The encouraging response to our tourist buses confirms the need for expansion. We are committed to providing affordable, comfortable, and well-organised travel options. We urge citizens to make the most of these services.”

Previously limited to weekends and public holidays, PMPML’s tourist services will now operate every day of the week in response to high demand. A successful pilot run of Route 6 took place on January 6 to assess feasibility. The inaugural services attracted 151 bookings—a clear indication of the city’s strong interest.
