The Central Government has entrusted the financial and administrative responsibility of MD and CEO as the current Managing Director of the Indian Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) Satpal Bhanu. After Siddharth Mahanty’s tenure, he has been given this responsibility. Bhanu will hold the interim work of the post until it comes from 1st to 5th September, until the regular appointment or the next order – which comes before.
In a statement issued by the LIC, “According to a letter issued by the Finance Department of the Ministry of Finance on June 7, LIC’s Managing Director Satpal Bhanu has been entrusted with the financial and administrative rights and responsibilities of the MD and CEO.”
Bhanu, who is appointed as the new Managing Director of LIC, has more than three decades in the field of insurance. Bhanu, who has been working in LIC for about six years, has previously taken over the zonal manager in the central division of Bhopal.
Earlier, he was a senior division manager in Bangalore-1 and Shimla departments. In addition, he has also served as Regional Manager in the Department of North (New Delhi), micro insurance, corporate communication and personal and industrial relations department. He has also served as the chief (Mumbai) chief (Mumbai) chief (marketing/senior business associate) at the LIC’s Central Office.
The process of changing leadership changes is underway at the Indian Life Insurance Corporation (LIC). Recently, the tenure of LIC’s first MD and CEO Siddhartha Mohanty have ended. The current leadership structure of the LIC includes a managing director and chief executive officer and a total of four Managing Director (MD).
According to the latest changes, Ratnakar Patnaik and Dinesh Pant have been appointed as MD. These appointments have been made after the retirement of M Jagannath and Tablash Pandey. Pant’s tenure will remain till May 1, while Patnaik will carry out his responsibilities by March 7.
Currently, the other two MD Satpal Bhanu and R Doriswamy are. Bhanu’s tenure ends on December 7 and Doriwami’s tenure is till August 7. Satpal Bhanu has previously served as additional director at the LIC’s Zonal Training Center in Bhopal. He has graduated Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla in history.
Ramkrishnan Chandar has been appointed as the Chief Investment Officer and Ajay Kumar Srivastava has been appointed as a part of the leadership change in the LIC. Through these appointments, the government -owned insurance company LIC is taking an important step towards adapting to a more competitive and controlled environment.
