The Meteorological Department (IMD Rain Alert) issued an alert and said that a yellow alert of heat wave has been issued in Punjab for three days from Monday. The department is expecting an increase in temperature by five to six degrees in the next five days. Bathinda has been the hottest in Punjab. On Saturday, the maximum temperature of Bathinda was recorded above 42 degrees.
