Emergency services, including police and an air ambulance, rushed to north Manchester on Sunday, June 8, after an incident involving a teenage boy. Police and paramedics headed to Nevin Road in the New Moston area, where a large cordon was put in place. The area outside the Fairway Inn pub was also cordoned off.
Pictures from the scene show a large police presence and the cordon in place. The ' Crime reporter John Scheerhout said residents claimed to him a "teenage boy was stabbed" in the grounds of a pub. Later in the evening, Greater Manchester Police said a teenage boy had died, and a murder investigation had been launched. The force added that three arrests had been made.
