News, New Delhi: Sidhu Moose Wala: Sidhu Mosewala… A name that is still alive in crores of hearts. Even though this shining star is no longer among us, but his memories, his songs and his style still rule the hearts of people. But now a big controversy has arisen over the documentary being made on the life of this great Punjabi singer.
In fact, BBC World Service has prepared a documentary based on Sidhu Mosewala’s life and murder case, which is scheduled to be screening in Juhu area of Mumbai on June 11. But before this, Mouswala’s father Balakaur Singh has strongly objected to this and has demanded to ban it completely.
Balkaur Singh has filed an official complaint against this documentary at DGP and Juhu police stations in Maharashtra. He says that the documentary manufacturers did not take any permission from him nor did he take care of the sentiments of the family. Balakaur Singh claimed that interviews of some people have been included in this documentary, who are directly named in Sidhu’s murder case.
Balakaur Singh alleged that through this documentary, his son’s image is being damaged and this could also affect the case going on in the court. He said that if needed, they will also knock the court door. He clearly says that no one can be allowed to show insensitive content in the name of Sidhu.
May 29 was the third death anniversary of Sidhu Mosewala. On this occasion, a large crowd gathered in his house and village. In the videos that came out on social media, it can be seen clearly that the sorrow of Sidhu’s family is still fresh. In such a situation, it is bound to create a ruckus about the documentary made on his life without the consent of the family.
