According to the Central Railway, the accident happened when some passengers were traveling towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) on Monday morning, during which some passengers fell from the train near Mumbra railway station in Thane district. The reason for the fall of passengers from the train is being said to be highly crowded. Railway administration and police reached the spot as soon as the incident was received. The injured were then immediately rushed to the nearby hospital. The matter is currently being investigated. After this accident, the services of Mumbai local have been affected.

Accident occurred due to huge crowd

Due to the crowd, many people were traveling by hanging on the door of the train. Then some people fell from the train. Many video clips of this incident are going viral on social media. In these, passengers can be seen falling from the train. After falling on the track, the passengers were picked up and taken to the platform. Many passengers were seriously injured in these, while everyone’s clothes were torn. At the same time, the guards of the Mumbai train going to Kasara in this case told that five passengers fell from the train near Mumbai station. The dead are currently being identified.
