A sensational case has come to light in Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh, which has caught the attention of the entire country. The King Raghuvanshi murder, which has been in the news for the last few days, has become more mysterious now. Sonam Raghuvanshi, the main accused in the case, who was missing for 17 days, was suddenly found in Ghazipur. But the story does not end here – Sunam has a serious charge of killing her husband Raja, and his brother Govind Raghuvanshi took a tough stance in the case and said, “If he is guilty, he should be punished.”
Sonam Raghuvanshi, who was found 1162 km from Shillong in Meghalaya after the murder of her husband Raja, is now in police custody. Police claim that Sonam along with her alleged lover Raj Kushwaha conspired to kill the king. The conspiracy consisted of two betel nut killers, who killed Raja in Shillong. However, Sonam is denying these allegations and describing herself as innocent. There are many unresolved questions in his story, which are further confusing the matter.
Sonam’s brother Govind Raghuvanshi, who reached the One Stop Center in Ghazipur from Indore, expressed his grief and anger in a media interaction. Govind said, “I want to meet my sister only once. If he confesses a crime, I will never forgive him. If he is guilty, he should be punished severely, even if he is hanged.” Govind said that on Sunday night, Sonam called him and told him his location, after which the police detained him.
Late on Sunday, Sonam suddenly arrived at a dhaba on the Varanasi-Gorakhpur highway in Nandganj police station area of Ghazipur. There he first sought help from a family, but when he was unheard, she reached the dhaba owner Sahil Yadav. Sahil gave him his phone, from which Sonam called his brother Govind. She started crying while talking on the phone. When Sahil asked Sonam her story, she told that she was looted in Shillong, snatched her jewels, and her husband was murdered in front of her. Sonam claims that after this she fainted and she was kidnapped and brought to Ghazipur.
