Popular social media content creator Sandip Brahamin has alleged that choreographer Remo D’Souza copied his signature dance move in the recently released Housefull 5 song “Laal Pari.” According to Sandip, the step was used without giving him any credit or acknowledgement.
To support his claim, Sandip uploaded a video on Instagram showcasing a side-by-side comparison. The video highlights a moment in “Laal Pari” where actors wearing hats shake their heads rhythmically—a move that closely resembles one of Sandip’s signature steps, which he claims to have popularized online.
In his post, Sandip expressed his disappointment, saying, “You all have seen my signature moves. My move has been copied in the Housefull 5 song ‘Laal Pari.’ Many of my friends messaged me after watching it. I checked again on Instagram and YouTube—there’s no credit or mention. I don’t know what is happening.”
Urging his followers to back him, Sandip added, “I want you guys to share this video as much as possible. I need your support.” His followers have since started sharing the video to raise awareness about the issue.
This controversy adds to the mounting troubles for “Laal Pari.” Earlier, the teaser of Housefull 5 was taken down from YouTube following a copyright claim filed by Mofusion Studios over the same song. Despite this, the song has gone viral, with fans and influencers widely using it in social media reels.
Sung by Yo Yo Honey Singh and Simar Kaur, “Laal Pari” features a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Soundarya Sharma, and Nargis Fakhri. The song remains a trending favorite across platforms despite the copyright disputes.
As of now, neither Remo D’Souza nor the Housefull 5 production team has commented on Sandip Brahamin’s accusations. Fans await an official statement regarding the alleged choreography copying and overall copyright issues surrounding “Laal Pari.”
