Course: BDS is a 5-year program, in which you have to spend 4 years in academics and one year in internship. There are more than 27,000 BDS seats in India.

Salary: Initially you can earn from 3 to 8 lakh rupees.

On the other hand, by doing a masters in this, you can easily earn from 15 to 30 lakh rupees annually.

Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery

Course: The BAMS program is 5.5 years, and is based on Ayurveda and the traditional medical system. BAMS graduates can work in wellness resorts or start the practice by opening their centers. Apart from this, there is also an option to work in government AYUSH hospitals.

Eligibility: To gain admission to BAMS, you must have passed 12th with 50 percent marks in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.

BUMS- Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery is also 5.5 years, which includes a one-year internship. This course focuses on traditional Unani medicine, which is based on the principles of Hippocratic theory and holistic.

BSMS- Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery course comes under the Ayush medical system. This course is for 5 years.

BSc in Bio-Medical Science

Course: This is a three to four-year course, that combines biology, medicine, engineering, and technology to study human health and disease. It includes subjects like physiology, medical microbiology, and pathology.

Eligibility: Must have passed 12th with 50 percent marks from PCB. However, many colleges give admission based on the entrance exam or 12th marks. At the same time, the NEET score is necessary in AIIMS.

Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry

Course: BSc & AH course is an emerging medical career option. This course is 5.5 years, in which you get the opportunity to study the methods of detecting and caring for animals, their nutrition, and research in veterinary labs.
