IIMC Opens Registration for Postgraduate Courses

New Delhi. The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), one of the country's leading media education institutions, has commenced the registration process for two postgraduate programs: Media Business Studies and Strategic Communication. The deadline for applications is June 15, 2025.




Interested candidates can register through the IIMC website (MA Admission Form). The registration fee is ₹1,500 for general category applicants and ₹1,000 for EWS/OBC/SC/ST/PWD categories, which must be paid online.




Indian citizens holding a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 55% marks or a CGPA of 5.5 are eligible to apply for both programs. Students who are currently in their final year of undergraduate studies may also apply.




Eligible Subjects for MA in Media Business Studies:


- Mass Communication and Journalism (COQP17)


- General Management (COQP12)


- Economics (COQP10)


- Commerce (COQP08)




Eligible Subjects for MA in Strategic Communication:


- Mass Communication and Journalism (COQP17)


- Political Science (HUQP18)




There is no age limit for admission to these programs. Selection will be based on CUET-PG scores and interviews. Each program has 40 seats, with an additional 8 supernumerary seats reserved for working professionals and other categories. Under the supernumerary quota, personnel from the Indian Armed Forces and media professionals with at least 10 years of experience can apply without a CUET score; their selection will be based solely on interviews.




The total fee for both programs over two years is ₹2,82,000, with the first semester fee of ₹79,000 due at the time of admission.
