Omniscient Reader: The Prophet, a film that aims to bridge the gaps between fiction and reality. Recently, during a production briefing segment, the film was unveiled. However, as a per a formal notice, fans noticed that the presence of BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is missing.

This has marked severe criticism for her managing agency YG Entertainment who could not effectively plan her schedule amidst the engagements.

Jisoo’s absence from Omniscient Reader: The Prophet’s event

During the briefing, the name of the entire cast of the film was announced, however Jisoo who was supposed to star alongside Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Min Ho, Chae Soo Bin, Shin Seung Ho, and Nana was not found.

The fantasy action was set to mark the grand screen debut for Jisoo. However, post the current observation, fans are blaming YG Entertainment, and Blissoo, calling them “nasty” for not being cognizant over her schedule.

They also talked about the reported double standards adopted by the companies. Jisoo often attends events of industry colleagues however could not make it for her own maiden big-scale project event. She was recently spotted during a press event of the movie Hi.5, rooting for her friend GOT7’s Park Jinyoung.

While some set of fans quipped that perhaps this was the singer’ personal choice to avoid the event with no prior intervention from the managing agency. Others drew consensus over the fact that since the group is preparing for a comeback, her independent activities may have been curtailed.
