The Delhi government has taken an important step towards putting an end to the ongoing tussle over the fees of private schools in Delhi. In this regard, the Delhi government passed the Delhi School Education Transparency in Fixation and Regulation of Fees-2025 Ordinance on Tuesday. This ordinance has been passed in the cabinet meeting of the Rekha Gupta government on Tuesday. It is believed that the passing of this ordinance will provide great relief to lakhs of parents.

The law will come into force from April 1: Ashish Sood.

Education Minister Ashish Sood spoke to TV9 regarding the Delhi School Education Transparency in Fixation and Regulation of Fees-2025 passed by the Delhi government on Tuesday. He said that the eighth cabinet meeting of the Rekha Gupta-led government was held on Tuesday. This ordinance has been passed in this meeting, which will now be sent to the Lieutenant Governor for approval. After that, the ordinance will go for the signature of the President. After approval from there, it will become a law and it will be considered applicable from April 1, 2025.

End of the arbitrariness of private schools

In a special conversation with TV9, Education Minister Ashish Sood said that this ordinance will provide great relief to a large number of children and their parents. This will end the arbitrariness of schools. This ordinance has been brought to prevent the exploitation of the future of children studying in private schools in Delhi and their parents.

Education Minister Sood said that Delhi School Education Transparency in Fixation and Regulation of Fees-2025 will soon take the form of law. Now parents will not receive notices from private schools for fee hikes.

DPS Dwarka controversy
In Delhi, the DPS Dwarka controversy recently attracted the attention of the country. Parents had accused DPS Dwarka of increasing fees for many years without approval, which was opposed by the parents. The school administration and parents came face to face on this. The parents had accused the school administration of stopping the entry of children with the help of bouncers.
