CBSE Recruitment: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the schedule of the Tier-2 examination for the post of Superintendent and the Skill Test for the post of Junior Assistant. According to the official notice, the Tier-2 examination for the post of Superintendent will be held on July 5, 2025. CBSE will also conduct a typing test for Junior Assistants from July 3 to July 5, 2025.

The board said that the exact date of the typing test will be updated in the application login of the candidates soon. CBSE Tier 2 Admit Card for both exams will be made available two days before the exam along with the schedule and exam center details.

Tier-2 exam only in Delhi

According to the official notice, the CBSE Tier 2 exam for both Superintendent and Junior Assistant posts will be conducted only in Delhi.

Full travel ticket costs will be reimbursed.

Candidates appearing for the Tier-1 exam on April 20, 2025, in cities other than Delhi, Noida, Faridabad, Gurugram and Ghaziabad will be reimbursed for their travel. CBSE will provide sleeper class (non-AC) train fare for to and fro travel.

The official notice states, “Candidates who have appeared for the Tier-1 exam (held on 20th April 2025) in cities other than Delhi/Noida/Faridabad/Gurugram/Ghaziabad will be reimbursed the to and fro fare of sleeper class (non-AC) train.”

To claim the amount, candidates will have to submit copies of their train tickets and a canceled cheque of their bank account during the Tier-2 or typing test. The reimbursement will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of the candidates.

A total of 212 posts will be recruited

The CBSE recruitment drive aims to fill 212 vacancies for the posts of Superintendent (Group B) and Junior Assistant (Group C). Out of the total vacancies, 142 are reserved for the post of Superintendent and 70 for the post of Junior Assistant.
