If you are also taking advantage of government free ration, then there is important news for you. The government has made e-KYC mandatory on ration cards and time till 30 June 2025 has been given for this. If you do not get e-KYC done by this date, then your name may be removed from the ration card and you may stop getting free ration.

You can do e-KYC sitting at home.

Now there is no need to go anywhere to get the KYC of the ration card done. You can complete this work from your mobile sitting at home. For this, you will need Mera KYC App and Aadhaar Face RD App apps.

Know what is the process.

First of all download Mera KYC and Aadhaar Face RD app in your mobile.

Open the app and select your state and location.

Now enter your Aadhaar number and enter the OTP received on the mobile linked to the Aadhaar.

After this, your details will appear on the screen.

Now choose the option of "Face eKYC" and scan the face with the selfie camera.

Your e-KYC process will be completed.

KYC of every member is necessary

Please note that separate verification of all the members linked on the ration card is necessary. If any member does not have e-KYC, his name will be removed from the ration card. E-KYC has now been made mandatory to avail the benefits of government schemes related to ration cards. This will ensure that only genuine and needy people get free ration and other government facilities.

Get e-KYC done quickly without delay

The deadline for e-KYC has been extended several times by the government, but now June 30 has been fixed as the last date. If you have not done this work yet, then complete this process quickly without delay, otherwise the benefits of free ration and other government schemes may stop.
