The police have prepared a traffic plan for the Kainchidham fair. Given the possibility of a large influx of devotees at the fair, the police have banned outside two-wheelers from going to the mountainous areas on June 14 and 15. They will be stopped at Kathgodam and Kaladhungi. From here, two-wheeler riders will be sent to Kainchidham by shuttle.

These days, there is a flood of tourists in Nainital and Kainchidham. Due to this, there are queues of vehicles on the Bhawali, Bhimtal, Nainital, Kainchidham, and Kathgodam roads every day. The police are making arrangements at temporary parking places to streamline the traffic, but these arrangements are insufficient. Due to the large number of two-wheelers coming towards the mountains, there is a problem of jams on the roads and intersections. Given this, the police have banned the entry of outside two-wheelers during the Kainchidham fair.

SP Traffic and Crime Dr. Jagdish Chandra said that given the influx of tourists, it has been decided that on June 14 and 15, outside bikes will be stopped at Kathgodam and Kaladhungi from where they will be sent to Kainchidham or Nainital by shuttle taxis and buses.

Shuttle service will be operated from these cities to Kainchidham.

During the Kainchidham fair, the administration will operate shuttle services and roadways buses for major cities. According to DM Vandana, twice as many shuttle vehicles will be operated this time as compared to last year. Apart from this, a shuttle service will be operated from Kaladhungi, Haldwani, Nainital, Kathgodam, Garampani, Khairna, Bhimtal, and Bhawali to Kainchidham.

Devotees will go from Haldwani to Kainchidham by paying the prescribed fare on the shuttle.
