Bollywood star Kajol is currently immersed in promotions for her upcoming horror thriller Maa, set to release in theatres on June 27, 2025. Directed by Vishal Furia and produced by her husband, actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn under Devgan Films in collaboration with Jio Studios, the film promises a chilling cinematic experience with a unique mythological twist.

Kajol Shares Her Experience with Producer-Husband Ajay Devgn

During a promotional interview, Kajol playfully revealed her behind-the-scenes dynamic with Ajay. “What should I say about this producer? He has troubled me a lot, very much. No one will agree (laughs),” she joked. Quickly switching to a more serious note, she added, “No, he is a brilliant producer. It is always comfortable to work with him.”

Kajol also shared a touching personal anecdote about Ajay’s views on womanhood. She recalled Ajay telling her, “You are very lucky, you have no idea. You can become Nysa’s friend, you will become a grandmother one day, you are a mother, you are my wife, and you have played all these roles very well without any effort.” According to Kajol, Ajay believes women are naturally conditioned from childhood to handle multiple life roles with grace, while men often need to learn them actively.
