THE BOYZ recently found themselves at the center of multiple controversies, as a wave of allegations surfaced on June 10, 2025. Accusations ranged from smoking and dating to drinking and allegedly socializing with minors, sparking widespread backlash.

In the wake of the uproar, other boy groups were also dragged into the spotlight. Additional screenshots began circulating online, claiming that several groups had been engaging in late-night meetups with young influencers. Let’s take a look at the groups that came under fire.

Members of THE BOYZ Hyunjae and Sangyeon are facing backlash following accusations of partying with girls. Fans claim that the idols attended a private house gathering, where they were introduced to several girls and were spotted drinking together.

The controversy escalated after alleged photos from the party—reportedly taken by the girls—surfaced online via the Close Friends feature on social media.

In the aftermath of the initial controversy, additional screenshots emerged online, claiming that other idol groups were also involved in late-night meetups with young influencers. ASTRO members MJ and Cha Eunwoo were among those named in one of the circulating posts.

"Even ASTRO was there. MJ was f*cking handsome. We really had so much fun. He’s so good at drinking. But anyway, it’s Cha Eunwoo for me," Koreaboo reported.

Another screenshot alleged that ATEEZ's Mingi attended the gathering and misrepresented his identity. According to the post, one girl claimed, 

"One of the oppas said he was a director at a skincare clinic, so I was like, 'Oh, I see.' I really had no clue who he was at the time, but it turned out he was ATEEZ's Mingi. No wonder everyone kept calling him Mingi—I just thought it was his real name."

Another screenshot suggested that members of ENHYPEN and Stray Kids were also present at the gathering. However, it remains unclear whether the claims refer to specific individuals from these groups or suggest that the entire groups were in attendance.

"THE BOYZ and ENHYPEN and Stray Kids… Wow, we hung out together for 10 hours. It was legendarily fun. I wanna KMS. Sigh."

Hyungwon faced backlash last year after photos of him drinking with women surfaced online, once again stirring conversations around his previous dating rumours. Adding to the speculation, new claims suggest that THE BOYZ's Sunwoo is currently dating Hyungwon's ex-girlfriend, intensifying fan chatter. 

Minhyuk's name also entered the spotlight after an anonymous user on X (formerly Twitter) shared an alleged photo of him on a date with his rumored girlfriend at Seoul Forest on Memorial Day (June 6). Separately, Sunwoo is also rumored to be dating Instagram influencer @Juuhana, according to various circulating fan posts. 

"The girl Hyungwon from MONSTA X was dating switched over to Kim Sunwoo, so Minhyuk went to the waiting room and told Kim Sunwoo to get his act together."
