Madhya Pradesh’s women beneficiaries have a reason to rejoice — the 25th installment of the Ladli Behna Yojana is scheduled to be released on June 13, 2025. Over 1.27 crore women in the state are expected to receive ₹1250 each directly into their bank accounts as part of this financial empowerment scheme.
According to official sources, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will transfer approximately ₹1500 crore to beneficiary accounts during a state event in Belkheda, Jabalpur. Similar to previous months, thousands of women are likely to attend the event, where the CM may also interact with the audience. For reference, the last installment was credited on June 15, alongside LPG subsidies under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana.
Why e-KYC is Crucial This TimeWhile the funds are ready to be transferred, completing your Samagra e-KYC is essential to avoid payment delays. The government has made e-KYC mandatory to curb misuse and prevent ineligible individuals from taking advantage of welfare schemes.
Several cases have surfaced where multiple fake Samagra IDs were created in certain regions, enabling people to fraudulently claim benefits. To stop such practices, the Madhya Pradesh government now requires all Ladli Behna Yojana beneficiaries to complete e-KYC verification using their Samagra ID.
Simple Steps to Complete e-KYC OnlineBeneficiaries can complete their Samagra e-KYC from the comfort of their homes. Follow these simple steps:
Visit the official Samagra portal.
Click on the "e-KYC" option.
Enter your Samagra ID.
An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar.
Enter the OTP and complete biometric verification using either your Aadhaar number or Virtual ID through IRIS (retina) scan.
How to Check If You’re on the Beneficiary List⚠️ Note: If the e-KYC process is not completed, your installment may be withheld.
Due to the removal of ineligible names from the scheme, it's important to verify whether you’re still on the active list. Here’s how:
Visit the official Ladli Behna Yojana website.
Click on “Application & Payment Status”.
Enter your Registration Number or Samagra ID.
Check your name and payment status.
The state government has also announced that payments will now be regularly disbursed between the 10th and 15th of every month, so timely verification is important.
No Hike in Amount YetDespite repeated demands, there are no immediate plans to increase the monthly amount under the Ladli Behna Yojana. Beneficiaries will continue to receive ₹1250 for now, as per the current policy.
