An Air India plane flying from Ahmedabad to London crashed soon after taking off from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. There were 242 passengers on board the plane. Former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani is also suspected to be on board the plane.

    According to news agency ANI, there were 242 people on board the plane. According to information, former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani is also suspected to be on board this plane.

     

    Ahmedabad airport has been closed till 5 pm. There are queues of ambulances at the mortuary of the Civil Hospital.

    In the list of passengers, the name of former Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani is listed at number 12 and his seat number is 2D.
