News Desk. Bihar Government is running several schemes to benefit women. One of these schemes is Mukhyamantri Nari Shakti Yojana (Mukhyamantri Nari Shakti Yojana). Financial assistance is provided to women under this scheme. Under the scheme, the students who have passed the preliminary examination of UPSC and BPSC. They are helped by up to Rs 1 lakh from the government to prepare for the main examination. The main objective of the Bihar government scheme is to make women financially self -sufficient. Along with this, this scheme provides education and training opportunities. Child marriage helps prevent domestic violence and gender discrimination.

Under the scheme, women candidates of Bihar who have passed the preliminary examination of UPSC and BPSC are provided financial assistance to prepare for the main examination. You get Rs 1 lakh on passing UPSC exam and Rs 50,000 for passing BPSC exam. Hostels and child care the cents are also available for working women. Also, mental, legal and social assistance has been arranged. Along with training and cooperation for self-employment, there is also a provision for loan and subsidy.

Eligibility of scheme
All girls and women of Bihar are for this scheme. Educational qualifications and criteria may vary for them. For example, it is mandatory for UPSC scheme to pass preliminary examination.

How to apply for plan
For this scheme, online forms can be filled on the official portal of Social Welfare Department of Bihar. For online application, the applicant will have to register first. This will require name Aadhaar number, email ID and mobile number. After the user ID and password is made, log in and fill all the information sought in the application form of the Chief Minister Nari Shakti Yojana. Applications will be submitted at the RTPS counter of the block office. The form will be examined by the Block Development Officer. This service can also be availed by visiting the One Stop Center.
