NEET UG Result 2025: The result of the medical entrance exam NEET UG 2025 is going to be released soon. Candidates will be able to check their results by visiting the official website neet.nta.nic.in. For this, they will have to enter their application number and date of birth. NTA has said that the NEET UG result will be released on June 14. Meanwhile, registration has started for admission to MBBS and BDS seats of state quota in Tamil Nadu.

Registration for Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counseling 2025 has to be done by visiting the official website tnmedicalselection.net. Till the NEET UG results are not released, students will have to upload their NEET UG admit cards at the time of registration for counseling.

In how many rounds will Tamil Nadu NEET UG counseling be held?

Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2025 counselling process involves several steps, including registration, choice filling and locking, downloading of seat allotment letter, provisional and final merit list, and finally joining the allotted institute. Usually, three rounds are conducted for Tamil Nadu NEET UG counselling. But if seats remain vacant, two or three special rounds of counselling are conducted.

According to the NIRF 2024 ranking, the top 7 medical colleges in Tamil Nadu are as follows-

1. Christian Medical College, Vellore

2. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore

3. Madras Medical College and Government General Hospital, Chennai

4. Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences, Chennai

5. SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai

6. Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai

7. PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Coimbatore

How many MBBS and BDS seats are there in Tamil Nadu?

The DME of Tamil Nadu will release the seat matrix for admission to MBBS and BDS under Management and NRI quota in due course. Tamil Nadu NEET UG counseling is being done for 6000 private MBBS, 5275 government MBBS seats, 2950 private BDS and 213 government BDS seats. Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2025 counselling is conducted separately for Government and Management/NRI quota seats.
