Long before Siddharth Nigam became a household name, the young actor had a hilarious and unforgettable encounter with Bollywood veteran Jackie Shroff during the early days of ' Dhoom 3' promotions. In an interview, Siddharth shared the amusing memory, which still leaves him in splits.
The actor, who played the young version of Aamir Khan ’s character in Dhoom 3, got nostalgic about his first interaction with Jackie dada. “He looked at me and said, ‘Oh bidu, beta kaisa hai tu? Bahut achha lag raha hai.’ I was like wow, Jackie Shroff."
Comedy interaction
Later, a hilarious moment comes a way when the 'Hero' star asked about Siddharth’s mother. “He said, ‘Mummy se milvao,’ and I replied, ‘Yes, mummy is downstairs.’” But he later asked for her number instead, saying, “Arey woh mummy hai kya? Phone number bol, prank call karne wale the… mummy ko daraane ke liye”
A Prank Call
Jackie dialled the number and said, “Hello darling,”. Siddharth quickly clarified, “Jo aap soch rahe ho na, woh wali mummy nahi hai… ye UP wali mummy hai.” Still in a teasing mood, Jackie said, “Hi darling, aaj tu bol, dinner par chalte hain… mujhe pata tha tu Mumbai aayi hai… ab kahaan dinner karegi?”
Siddharth's mother, unaware of the actor teasing her, said, “Abe kaun bol raha hai saale?” later, Jackie while walking towards her, clarified, “Darling, main Jackie Shroff bol raha hoon.”
