That is why many people use the option of Tatkal ticket booking. But now without Aadhaar verification, you will not be able to avail the benefit of the Tatkal booking facility. Railways has announced the implementation of new rules for Tatkal booking.

Aadhaar authentication has now been made mandatory by the Railways for Tatkal booking. That is, now only those users will be able to do Tatkal booking whose Aadhaar card is verified in IRCTC account. Without Aadhaar authentication users will not be able to do booking.

If you have not yet linked Aadhaar to your IRCTC account. Then know how you can do it by logging in. The complete process of Aadhaar verification. Let us tell you which steps have to be followed for this.

To do Tatkal booking, first of all you have to go to the official website of IRCTC www.irctc.co.in or open IRCTC Rail Connect app. After this, you have to login by entering your username password and captcha code.

Then you have to go to the My Profile section. Where you have to click on the option of Aadhaar KYC. After this you have to enter your Aadhaar card number and verify it with OTP.

After this your Aadhaar will be linked to your IRCTC account and you will be able to avail the facility of Tatkal booking. Let us tell you that these rules will come into effect from July 1. After this, Tatkal booking will not be possible from IRCTC account without Aadhaar verified.
