Essential Qualifications

To apply for this post, candidates should have passed class 10th from any recognized board in India or candidates should have a three-year diploma in automobile engineering or mechanical engineering. Apart from this, the minimum age to apply should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 42 years.

How will the selection be done?

Candidates will be selected for the post of vehicle inspector based on written examination and interview. The written examination will be conducted in three parts. In the first paper, general studies, in the second paper, automobile or mechanical engineering, and the third paper, multiple choice type questions of 100-100 marks will be asked on the subject of Motor Vehicle Rules and Act. Candidates selected in the written examination will be invited for interview.

To apply for this post, the application fee for general/OBC/EWS and other state candidates is Rs 750, for SC/ST/Divyang and female (Bihar only) candidates, the application fee has been fixed at Rs 200.
