Newcastle's Callum Wilson will be part of a punditry panel that includes the legendary Ronaldo as DAZN build their line-up. BBC's Kelly Somers is among the hosts for the competition.

The 32-team tournament begins with Egyptian outfit Al-Ahly taking on the 's Inter Miami in Miami and insight will be provided by the former England striker, who will rub shoulders with the Brazil icon and German World Cup winner Sami Khedira.

DAZN has exclusive rights to the month-long competition, which will include more than 60 games as and fly the flag for the . Former Chelsea stalwart John Obi Mikel, who has his own podcast, will also be part of the punditry panel.

Wilson faces an uncertain future at St James' Park with his contract expiring on June 30. Talks continue over a possible extension but during the summer the striker will try his hand at punditry.

Another former England international in Andros Townsend will be part of DAZN's coverage with former Premier League goalkeeper Brad Friedel offering insight in his homeland.

Last December DAZN and FIFA announced their partnership as they were awarded the exclusive worldwide rights to the Club World Cup - which is the first time a single broadcaster was given exclusive rights to a men’s international club tournament.

Wilson left the pitch in tears after qualified for the on the final day in what could prove to be the striker's last game for the club. Wilson said recently: "I know my worth and I know my value and I’m still so hungry inside that even though I know Alex [Isak] is scoring goals, I’m still frustrated when the team sheet comes out and I’m not starting so I know I’m not ready to leave football yet."
