has claimed he would trade one of his Manchester City Premier League titles to have experienced the Europa League triumph with his old club Tottenham. The former Spurs star, who left north London empty-handed after an eight-year stint, was candid about his feelings on the north Londoners' glory in Europe that ended their 17-year trophy drought.

Reflecting on those jubilant scenes and Son Heung-min's moment of glory, the 35-year-old expressed his envy towards his former squad members who savoured ending Tottenham's long wait for silverware. On the Kyle Walker Podcast, Walker said: "I'd probably give up one Premier League title, not the first, to have won that Europa League with Tottenham."

"I know what it means. I'd probably give my second, its hard to give one away, but for what that moment meant. To be in that Spurs squad that won a trophy."

Walker was a key figure in Mauricio Pochettino's youthful squad that included stars like Harry Kane, Son, Dele Alli and Danny Rose. They secured second place in the Premier League in 2017, but Walker was the first to decide his career would be better off elsewhere.

His move to Manchester saw his career flourish and his trophy cabinet expand significantly, particularly when compared to some of his former Tottenham colleagues who stayed loyal to the cause in north London.

Son has just won his first honour. Kane moved to Bayern Munich two years ago and has just lifted his first trophy. In contrast, Walker boasts six league titles, two FA Cups, four Carabao Cups and a Champions League.

Walker's future at the Etihad is now uncertain. He went on loan to AC Milan in January, but they've chosen not to make the move permanent.

With one year left on his contract, he'll have to return for pre-season training later this summer unless another deal can be arranged, as Pep Guardiola appears to be moving forward without the experienced right-back.
