Beneficiaries of the Ladli Behna Yojana in Madhya Pradesh will now have to wait a few more days for the 25th installment of ₹1250. The payment, which was earlier scheduled for June 13, has been postponed due to the tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad. All state programs for the day have been called off, including the fund transfer event.

According to the latest information released by state officials, the installment transfer will now take place on June 16, 2025. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will initiate the fund disbursement program from Belkheda, Jabalpur, on Monday, and the amount of ₹1250 will be transferred to the bank accounts of over 1.27 crore eligible women across the state.

Just a day before, CM Mohan Yadav had announced on social media that the 25th installment would be credited on June 13, which brought cheer to many women expecting early disbursement. However, in light of the tragic plane accident in Ahmedabad, the Chief Minister has canceled all events scheduled for today, including those in Jabalpur and Indore.

Expressing condolences on social media, CM Yadav said the entire nation is mourning the loss of lives in the crash. As a mark of respect, he has decided to postpone government events and extend support to the affected families.

Earlier, the Ladli Behna Yojana installments were generally credited before the 10th of each month. However, starting from the 2025–26 financial year, the disbursement timeline has been revised. Now, the payment is expected to arrive between the 10th and 15th of the month, depending on state fund availability and allocation from the central government.

In May 2025, the previous installment was successfully credited on May 15, directly into the accounts of over 1.27 crore women. The revised timeline aims to improve budget management and streamline the process with central funding schedules.

Launched to provide monthly financial assistance to women, the Ladli Behna Yojana is one of the most ambitious welfare schemes of the Madhya Pradesh government. Under this initiative, eligible women receive ₹1250 every month, helping them achieve financial independence and improved household support.

The scheme has gained wide-scale success and appreciation, becoming a crucial part of women empowerment efforts in the state.

Although the 25th installment has been slightly delayed, the transfer of funds will now take place on June 16, instead of June 13. Beneficiaries are advised to be patient, as the payment will be credited directly to their bank accounts once the revised program is conducted.
