The NEET-UG result for admission to medical colleges is expected to be released on Saturday. As per the schedule set by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the results were scheduled to come on June 14. Candidates have filed petitions in the courts regarding the lack of electricity in the examination centers and not giving extra time. After getting permission from the courts to stop the results of some students and release the rest, the results will come on time.

How many MBBS seats are there in the country?

A total of 1,18,190 seats are available for MBBS courses in India. Of these, 1,15,250 seats were filled during the academic session 2024-25, which is about 97.5% of the total seats. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) conducts the counseling process for MBBS and BDS seats under 15% AIQ (All India Quota) through NEET UG 2025.

This is how you can check the NEET UG result.

First of all, candidates have to visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in.
On the homepage, you have to click on the “NEET UG 2025 Result” link (after it is activated).
Now enter the credentials like your admit card number and date of birth.
The result will be displayed on the screen, which can be downloaded and printed.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon upload the scorecard of NEET UG 2025 on the official websites. NEET UG is the largest medical entrance exam in the country, in which about 20 lakh students compete for MBBS and BDS seats.
At the time of release of the result, the server may be down or the website may be slow due to heavy traffic on the website. But don't panic, students will be able to check their results easily by visiting the official websites given below:
