State Bank of India PO Final Result 2025: State Bank of India has released the final result of the Probationary Officer Recruitment Examination. To further improve its banking services across the country, 505 Probationary Officers (PO) have been appointed. Candidates who had passed the Mains exam and appeared in the group exercise and interview round can now check their results on the . Website.

This appointment is considered to be one of the major recruitments being done in the junior management grade in the banking industry. SBI said in a statement issued on Friday (June 13) that this recruitment has been done to fill the vacancies in various regions of the country and it aims to further strengthen the banking process and delivery. These newly appointed officers will get opportunities to work in various departments like Banking Operations, Corporate Credit, Agri-Business, Wealth Management, Treasury Operations, Banking Regulation, and Compliance. Along with this, they can also get a chance to post in foreign branches.

SBI said that Probationary Officers get a well-planned career path, through which they can also reach the top management level of the bank. Bank Chairman CS Setty said that with the inclusion of this new talent pool, our aim is to further strengthen our human resource capabilities by implementing structured skill development programs in line with functional and technical requirements.

SBI's total recruitment will be more than 18,000

According to the bank, a total of 18,000 people will be recruited this year. Of these, about 13,500 will be on clerical posts and 3,000 will be Probationary Officers and other locally appointed officers. Earlier this week, SBI also announced the appointment of 13,455 Junior Associates, which is considered a big step towards improving customer experience in bank branches.

The selection was to be done on 600 posts.
The recruitment drive aimed to fill a total of 600 posts for the post of Probationary Officer. This examination process started with the preliminary examination, followed by the main examination and then the interview rounds. Only the marks of the main and interview have been added to the final merit. The final stage interview was completed in the first week of June.
