What is the DAF Form?

In DAF i.e. Detailed Application Form, the candidate's details, educational background, work experience, hobby, preference of services, and many other important information are sought. This form makes your first impression in the interview.

DAF is a very important part of the selection process of the Civil Services Examination of the Union Public Service Commission. This form is a means of presenting the complete profile of the candidate in detail and it is filled in two stages. When will the DAF-I form be released and when is the main exam?

UPSC has recently declared the results of Prelims 2025, in which a total of 14,161 candidates have qualified. Now it is the turn of the main exam, which is to be held from 22 August 2025. Before that, the UPSC DAF-I form will be released on 17 June 2025.

Register on the portal and log in.

Fill in all the details carefully - like education, service preference, hobby, language, work experience, etc.

Once the form is filled, preview it, correct the mistakes, and then submit it.
