The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has launched the DND app to give mobile users relief from unwanted calls and messages. This app is available for free on both Android and iOS platforms and prioritizes user privacy.

These are the special features of the DND app.

1. Instant reporting of spam calls and messages
If an unwanted call or message comes, a complaint can be made immediately through the “Report Spam” option in the app.

2. Permission of calls of desired category
Users can allow only those promotional calls that are acceptable to them, such as banking, health, or education.

3. Complete DND registration

If users want, they can completely distance themselves from all types of telemarketing.

4. Monitor the status of the complaint
Users can see the progress of their complaint through the "Complaint Status" section.

How to use the app?

First of all, search “TRAI DND” from the Google Play Store or App Store and download the app. On opening the app, register the number through OTP verification. After this, users can set their call preferences. Complaints can be lodged immediately on any spam call through the “Report Spam” button.

The TRAI DND app does not contain any advertisements and is completely safe. It is directly connected to telecom companies, which makes quick action on complaints possible.
