The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has announced the results of the SSLC Exam 2. Out of the 3,15,564 students who appeared, 87,330 have passed, recording a pass percentage of 27.67%. With this, the combined pass percentage from Exam 1 and Exam 2 has reached 71.43%. The SSLC Exam 3 is scheduled to begin on July 5.
A total of 11,818 students who had already passed Exam 1 appeared again to improve their scores. Of these, 6,635 students (56.14%) successfully enhanced their performance.
In Exam 2, four students secured full marks:
Lakshmi B. Bidarahalli from Jnana Siri Jyothi English Medium School, Hagaranoor (Vijayanagara)
S. Sriram Shetty from Government High School, Haladi (Udupi)
Sanjana S. from Sri Adichunchanagiri High School, Sharavathi Nagar (Shivamogga)
With this, the total number of perfect scorers has increased to 39. In Exam 1, 22 students had achieved full marks. After revaluation, another 13 joined the list, and now 4 more from Exam 2.

10 in mathematics

Students can apply online for scanned copies of their answer sheets until June 17 and download them until June 18. The application window for revaluation and re-totalling is open from June 16 to 19. Fee payments can be made via bank challan between June 16 and 20.
Exam 3 registration and schedule
Candidates must register for Exam 3 between June 13 and 18. The timetable is as follows:
July 5: First Language
July 7: Science, Civics, Hindustani/Karnataka Music
July 8: English, Kannada
July 9: Second Language, Mathematics, Social Science
July 10: Third Language, NSQF subjects
July 11: Social Science
July 12: JTS subjects, Economics
In a notable trend, students from government schools performed better this year with a pass percentage of 36.65% in Exam 2. Among the four students who scored 625/625, one belongs to a government school, reflecting the success of the new three-exam policy.
“This is the result of the hard work put in by teachers and students of government schools. The new exam model has proven successful,” said S. Madhu Bangarappa, Minister for School Education and Literacy.
