South Africa are facing Australia in the WTC final at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground in London. The Proteas are attempting to claim their first ICC title after 27 years. They have a good chance of ending their long drought after Day 3. Most of the credit goes Aiden Markram and the skipper Temba Bavuma, who are still unbeaten at the crease at the Stumps of Day 3. Bavuma has made history with his courageous innings.

Temba Bavuma ended Day 3 with 65 runs off 121 balls. This is now the top score by an individual captain in a WTC final. He surpassed the earlier record by New Zealand's Kane Williamson, who had scored 52 not out during the 2021 final against India.
