New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 results on June 14. It has also released NEET UG scorecard 2025 along with results. Candidates who have appeared for the NEET UG entrance exam held on May 4 can access the NEET result 2025 with their login credentials such as application number and date of birth on the official website at neet.nta.nic.in.

The NEET UG counselling is the next major activity for candidates after checking the entrance exam results. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is responsible for conducting the NEET UG counselling 2025 for admission to 15 per cent of All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government colleges. It also provides admission to 100 per cent of seats in Deemed/Central Universities, ESIC/AFMS, AIIMS, JIPMER, and BSc Nursing programs. Candidates must note that the remaining 85 per cent of seats in government colleges will be held and managed by the respective state departments.

As MCC is expected to release NEET UG counselling 2025 schedule shortly, candidates need to get familiar with the important instructions for admission to MBBS/ BDS courses.

15 per cent of All India Quota (AIQ) seats for MBBS/ BDS
100 per cent of MBBS/ BDS Seats in BHU OPEN
100 per cent of MBBS seats of AIIMS across India (AIIMS Open seats)
100 per cent of seats in JIPMER Open (Puducherry/ Karaikal)
100 per cent of seats in AMU Open
15 per cent of All India Quota seats of DU/ IP University (VMMC/ ABVIMS/ESIC Dental)
Jamia Open seats – Faculty of Dentistry (Jamia Millia Islamia)
15 per cent of All India Quota (AIQ) seats of ESIC

15% AIQ reservation policy

SC: 15 per cent
ST: 7.5 per cent
OBC (non-creamy layer): 27 per cent
EWS: 10 per cent
PwD Horizontal Reservation as per NMC norms: 5 per cent

The MCC will begin the NEET UG counselling registration process after the schedule has been released. Candidates are advised to keep visiting the MCC’s website for latest updates.
