Azaan Sami Khan, a well-known musician who has now stepped into acting, recently appeared on Gohar Rasheed’s show Ramz, where he opened up about deeply personal aspects of his life. Coming from a family of icons—his mother Zeba Bakhtiar, a celebrated actress, and his father Adnan Sami Khan, a renowned musician—Azaan spoke candidly about the emotional journey that shaped him.

He shared that while his relationship with his father has always been respectful and warm, he spent most of his life living with his mother after his parents’ difficult divorce. Despite the emotional toll it took, Zeba Bakhtiar never discouraged Azaan from building a bond with his father. In fact, she always encouraged it, even when it may have been hard for her personally. Azaan expressed deep gratitude for this, saying that things could have taken a very different turn in his life, but with Allah’s help and his mother’s strength, he stayed on the right path.

He reflected on how societal pressure changed his mother over time. Taking on the roles of both parents, she became emotionally distant—not out of choice, but as a result of having to shoulder responsibilities alone. Watching this transformation left a lasting impact on Azaan. He admitted that while his mother had to suppress her emotions, he has chosen a different path as a father. He makes a conscious effort to be expressive and emotionally available to his children, wanting to create a nurturing environment he felt was often missing during his own upbringing.

The conversation revealed a mature, grounded side of Azaan Sami Khan—someone who has grown through pain, held on to love, and chosen to break cycles for the sake of his own children. His story is not just about fame or legacy, but about emotional resilience, compassion, and gratitude.
