Reem Shaikh: TV actress Reem Sheikh was trolled on social media after a plane crash in Ahmedabad on 12 June. Many people lost their lives in this accident. But when Reem came in front of the media during a shoot, he did not respond to the incident.

What is the matter?

When Reem Sheikh came out of the set of the TV show ‘Laughter Chefs 2’, Paparaji asked him “Mam, speak something about tomorrow.” To this, Reem replied “What happened yesterday?” When Paparaji told that the plane had crashed, Reem left without saying anything.

As soon as this video went viral, many people started calling Rem insensitive. Filmmaker Ashok Pandit also criticized Reem by posting a post on Instagram. He wrote, “The life of the actress is limited to only vanity vans, makeup and costume. It seems as if she has come from another planet. She should apologize for this foolish reaction.”

After increasing the trolling, Reem Sheikh clarified on social media. He said that he had received the first information about this incident, as his sister is a crew member in Air India.

Reem wrote, “When the accident happened, I saw my sister crying. She was mourning for her fellow crew members. It is not just a news headline for me, it is very personal.”

He also said, “Paparaji had not questioned me directly about the plane crash. He just said ‘speak about tomorrow’. So I did not answer. That does not mean that I did not have a difference. I do not say anything on a tragic incident without asking.”

Reem wrote that those who are calling them insensitive, understand that not everyone can show their grief in front of the camera. He wrote, “I cannot show sorrow by crying in front of the camera. I am not such a person. This sorrow is in my heart, which I cannot tell in words.”
