I recently flew to Da Nang from the new Terminal T3 at Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City and was surprised by how quick and convenient the services and procedures were.

It was my first time flying domestically from the new terminal, and I initially feared the airline procedures would be time-consuming. However, to my surprise, I completed the airport check-in process in under a minute.

To ensure a smooth experience, I recommend arriving at the terminal about 90 minutes before departure.

After receiving my boarding pass, I proceeded to the security checkpoint and noticed that many foreign tourists also praised the service for being fast and efficient.

Near the security area, there are several stalls selling coffee and other beverages, offering a nice place to relax before boarding.

T3, which started operations in late April, has an annual capacity of 20 million passengers, making it the largest domestic terminal in Vietnam.

Built by the Airports Corporation of Vietnam, work on the VND11 trillion (US$445 million) terminal began at the end of 2022.
